The Braves were able to fight back and win a tight game. This game had lots of hits and was a back and forth affair. The Braves were able to take the lead after a 12-run 3rd inning. Ray Buford came in the bottom of the fourthand only allowed 3 runs in three innings. And only allowed one hit over the last two innings. He also had two line drive singles. Mario Duran had 4 RBI's.
 
The White Sox's Kyle Gibbs had 3 hits and had 4 RBI's in a losing effort.
