This was the makeup game for the rained-out game on 5/20/02. The Braves were led by Mario Duran's stron pitching, Andrew Gartner's 5 RBI's, Mark Cosgrove's 3RBI's, and Logan Lisle retiring the final 7 batters in order to preserve the victory over the A's, who never gave up. The A's were down 11-2 in the top of the fourth before tallying 6 runs to get the score to 11-8. The Braves were able to add 1 more run in the top of the 6th and Logan Lisle did the rest with a little help from Ray Buford in center field.
