Concord American Baseball
Game Summary  AAA Division
Astros vs Braves   - May 22, 2002
Astros 8 - Braves 4

As has been the case with most of the games between these two contenders a well played, and exciting ball game. After five innings the Astros had built an 8-1 lead when the Braves started a 6th inning rally. They scored 3 runs but came up short for a final score of 8-4. The Astros as has been the case virtually every time he has taken the hill, got strong pitching from ace Christian Saylor striking out 9 Braves in 5 innings. The Astros played good defence led by Richard Shepherd making two great plays on line drives smashed his direction at shortstop.

The Braves also had some gems in the field erasing some balls hit hard that on most days would have been extra bases. The Astros victory makes the season series between these two teams even at 2 a piece.
